We are shipping/trucking company looking for one Dispatcher/Driver to bring on board. This Individual must possess the ability to multitask, and be able to work well with other s team players. *Must have experience with containers coming via Import/export. Also have underling knowledge of how the ports work and how to verify containers based on their steam ship line. Qualifications •Individuals must possess the ability to multitask, be a team player and work very well with others •Excel and Word, Email Communication •Familiarity with logistics software, superior attention to detail, process and •planning focused work approach •Strong verbal and written communication skills •Team player and team builder, management of customer relationships, Responsibilities •Close communication with Drivers, Yard and Operations Managers to monitor •daily field performances; ensure dispatchers relay plan adjustments to the field •Understanding of transportation systems, dispatch software, Microsoft Office •development of new customer relationships •Maintain contact with drivers throughout their shifts and address any routing Job Type: Full-time Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Friday Experience: • Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)
