Squires Public House has served many loyal guests their favorite food and drink since being established in 2007 and has become more than just a place to have a meal, but a gathering spot to celebrate friends and family. We are dedicated to the craft of home cooking, and endeavor to bring to you all of the classics a good Public House has to offer, but also unique and different offerings from other gathering places around the world! We are currently seeking innovative and experienced Chefs to join our team. 3-5 years of experience working in high-volume kitchens Demonstrated knowledge of culinary techniques and practices Keeping up-to-date on culinary trends Well-versed in health and sanitation laws Culinary Degree or Masters in Culinary Arts. Language Requirements: English Position Requirements / Skills: Keeping up-to-date on culinary trends Well-versed in health and sanitation laws Must have strong communication and social skills to be able to communicate with staff and customers, if required Must have great culinary imagination to develop new dishes and determine specials of the day Working Conditions: High-paced and high-pressure environment Physically demanding, as must be standing on feet all day Exposure to hot ovens and grills Routinely lifting heavy objects
