Job Description:
West Airdrie Dental, located at 35 MacKenzie Way SW #5103, Airdrie, AB, T4B 0V7 is seeking 2 Dental Administrative Assistant to start as soon as possible. We are looking for a Dental Administrative Assistant who has relevant experience for at least three months and has a high school certificate or equivalent.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time.
Salary: $30.00 Hourly, for 30 hours per week. Includes Extended Medical Insurance, 2 weeks paid vacation.
Location of Employment: Required to work at 35 MacKenzie Way SW #5103, Airdrie, AB, T4B 0V7
Skill Requirements
Languages: English
Education: High School Diploma, or any equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 3 months of related experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Handle insurance and claim forms
• Prepare forecasting and predetermination for patients
• Associate and organize doctor payments
• Prepare accounting reports and manage payment collections
• Schedule and confirm medical appointments and receive and communicate messages for medical staff and patients
• Help patients in order to complete forms, documents and case histories
• Prepare and maintain confidential medical files and records
• Organize dental charting and treatment plan
• Order supplies for the office as required and manage clinic’s inventory
• Improve clinic workflow and procedures
• Provide reports to top management
• Communicate with suppliers and other stakeholders of the clinic
• Participate in marketing activities and public relations for the clinic
• Maintain accurate financial records for income and expenses of the clinic.
