Video and Camera Operator
The Times of Canada group was established in 2010 to foster a better understanding of South Asian culture, heritage, fairs, festivals, and its people within mainstream Canadian society. We strive to raise awareness about the achievements, talents, and significant contributions of exceptional members of the South Asian community by reporting on local events, galas, and news.
Located at #207-7928 128 St, Surrey, BC V3W 4E8, The Times of Canada is seeking to fill one permanent full-time position for a Videographer to join our team.
The candidate will perform the following duties:
Setting up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, and other equipment.
Filming video on set and location. Events such as news, live events, videos, and broadcasting.
Adjust focus, exposure, and lighting.
Edit footage after recording.
Test, maintain, and store equipment.
Wages: $ 38.25 /hr for 40 hrs a week
Location of work: Surrey, BC, and surrounding areas.,
Job Requirements:
· Completion of high school
· A college program in audio-visual technology, or a related field, OR extensive experience as a Videographer is required.
· Knowledge of social media is an asset.
· Ability to communicate in English
