Position Overview:
ANI is seeking a Videographer / Editor to support ongoing and upcoming projects, including community campaigns, live events, interviews, and short-form digital content. This role is ideal for a creative who is both technically strong and culturally grounded, with a passion for storytelling that centers equity, authenticity, and community voice.
The Videographer / Editor will work closely with the Creative Director and project teams to capture, edit, and deliver compelling visual content across platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production & Videography
- Capture high-quality video for interviews, events, performances, panels, and documentary-style shoots
- Support multi-camera setups, lighting, and audio for both studio and on-location shoots
- Collaborate on shot lists, production planning, and creative direction
- Maintain organized media files and backups
Post-Production & Editing:
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, websites, and campaigns
- Apply basic color correction, sound mixing, captions, and graphics as needed
- Export multiple versions optimized for various platforms (Instagram, YouTube, web, etc.)
- Meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality and storytelling
Collaboration & Workflow:
- Work closely with ANI’s Creative Director and project leads
- Participate in creative reviews and feedback cycles
- Adapt edits based on client or internal feedback
- Support multiple projects simultaneously when needed
Work Structure & Compensation:
- Project-based or part-time contract (with potential for ongoing work)
- Competitive hourly or day rate, commensurate with experience

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in videography and video editing (or equivalent portfolio)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus)
- Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting, and audio
- Experience shooting and editing interviews and event coverage
- Ability to tell clear, emotionally resonant stories through video
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with nonprofits, artists, or community-based organizations
- Familiarity with documentary or narrative storytelling
- Comfort working in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- Alignment with ANI’s values around equity, inclusion, and community-centered storytelling
