Katcom Technologies Inc. is seeking a Video Production Company Manager to join our team in the Greater Vancouver area. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive hourly wage of $40.00 to $50.00, based on experience. The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week and includes 4% vacation pay.

As a Video Production Company Manager, you will be expected to perform the following duties:
• Develop and Enforce Production Policies:
Establish and implement company-wide procedures and operational policies to ensure high-quality video production and compliance with industry standards.
• Production Planning:
Design and maintain detailed production schedules for video projects, ensuring timely completion and delivery while balancing creative and operational priorities.
• Hands-on, Cross-Functional Role
Step in as needed to perform various production roles—including camera operation, audio recording, and other technical tasks—to support the team and ensure seamless operations.
• Budget Management:
Prepare, monitor, and control production budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources without compromising quality.
• Team Leadership and Supervision:
Recruit, hire, and oversee a skilled team of production staff, including videographers, editors, and support personnel. Provide training and ensure team cohesion.
• Compliance and Consultation:
Liaise with government and industry regulatory bodies to ensure that all productions meet legal and ethical guidelines.
• Client and Stakeholder Collaboration:
Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners to facilitate project success and company growth.
• Quality Assurance and Problem-Solving:
Review final video outputs to ensure they meet company standards and client expectations, addressing any issues or delays proactively.
• Innovation and Market Adaptation:
Stay informed on emerging trends and technologies in video production to maintain the company’s competitive edge.
• Business Development
Identify and engage new clients, explore emerging markets, and find opportunities to drive growth and expand the company's reach.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Film, Media Production, Communications, or Business.
Professional Experience:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of direct experience in video production, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
• 3-5 years of experience as videographer
• 3-5 years of experience as photographer
• 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally within a creative or media-focused organization.
• Market Knowledge:• Experience with Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs): Demonstrated experience working closely with SMBs, understanding their unique needs, challenges, and opportunities to tailor services effectively.
• • Non-Profit Sector Familiarity: Proven ability to collaborate with non-profit organizations, with insight into their operational structures and content requirements.
• • Understanding of Real Estate Content Needs: Deep knowledge of the real estate industry, including current market trends and specific content needs, to create compelling and relevant material that resonates with target audiences.

Technical Expertise:
• Proficiency in video production equipment and up-to-date knowledge (Sony cameras, drones, audio equipment, lighting)
• Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Lightroom, LRTimelapse, Davinci Resolve, Frame.io, Topaz Video AI), and post-production workflows.
• Deep understanding of emerging trends and innovations in video production technology.
Project and Team Management:
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage production schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Communication Skills:
• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
