Video Equipment Installation and Repair Technician Job

Electron Man Electrical and Maintenance Inc. is seeking a skilled Video Equipment Installation and Repair Technician specializing in video surveillance systems to join our team. The successful candidate will install, maintain, and repair a wide range of video surveillance equipment, including cameras, recording systems, and network devices. This role is critical to ensuring the security and operational efficiency of our clients’ systems.

The Video Equipment Installation and Repair Technician will:
• Install, configure, and maintain video surveillance systems, including cameras, digital and network video recorders (DVR/NVR), and related hardware.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot video surveillance equipment using multimeters, circuit testers, and other diagnostic tools to identify and resolve system issues.
• Diagnose and locate faults in surveillance equipment, components, and network connections.
• Adjust, align, replace, or repair surveillance cameras, assemblies, and associated components following technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ensure proper connectivity of surveillance systems, including integration with IT networks and security systems.
• Perform firmware updates, software installations, and system calibrations to maintain optimal functionality.
• Complete detailed work orders, repair logs, and system performance reports.
• Provide technical support and training to clients regarding the operation and maintenance of surveillance systems.
