Butterfly Noir Inc. is a non-profit arts organization that strives to close the opportunity gap for emerging artists that are historically underrepresented, whose talent is underrepresented in all aspects of the tv, film, and media industry. We aim to provide free and low cost educational workshops, programs, and consulting services for a multi-generational collective of artists that help them develop and publish creative content. Butterfly Noir is seeking a skilled and dependable Video Editing Facilitator to teach virtual editing workshops. This role is perfect for someone with expertise in using editing software, specifically Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro. The workshop is 6 weeks long. $50 an hour. Weekly sessions are 2 hours. There is flexibility on the class time and day.
Responsibilities:
Teach workshop once a week
Provide workshop course curriculum
Track and report participant attendance
Email correspondence with workshop participants
Qualifications:
Skilled in Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro Editing Software
Can teach foundations of video editing
Can explore key techniques for creating polished professional videos
Available from mid august to late september
