We are looking for an artist who shares our passion for high-quality visual storytelling, takes pride in both the creative and technical aspects of their work, is motivated to grow alongside a collaborative team, and be someone we will love working with.

This role involves interpreting creative briefs, producing and integrating digital imagery, and preparing final visual materials for film, advertising, and digital delivery pipelines. The ideal candidate brings a hybrid skillset across compositing, online
finishing, design, and emerging AI-assisted workflows, with the ability to contribute across multiple stages of production.

Responsibilities

• Take briefs and direction from creative leads to execute assigned shots to a high standard within project timelines

• Integrate 2D, 3D, and live-action elements into cohesive final images, ensuring realism, visual continuity, and adherence to creative intent

• Execute high-end compositing using industry-standard workflows while balancing creative and technical requirements

• Assemble, refine, and finalize visual materials for commercial delivery across broadcast, digital, and social platforms

• Conform, version, and manage timelines using DaVinci Resolve and/or Nuke Studio for finishing and delivery

• Adapt and format visual content to meet technical specifications, including resolution, colour space, and delivery requirements

• Perform quality control (QC) on final images and sequences to ensure accuracy, consistency, and technical compliance

• Organize and manage digital assets, including renders, plates, graphics, and project files, following established pipeline structures

• Prepare and maintain node-based compositing scripts and layered project files for efficient revisions and version control

• Modify, retouch, and refine visual elements based on creative feedback and technical requirements

• Ensure consistency across colour-managed workflows, including ACES pipelines and final colour output

• Convert and optimize media assets for integration across compositing, editorial, and finishing workflows

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within compositing and post-production pipelines

• Collaborate closely with editors, CG artists, and creative teams to ensure alignment with project goals and specifications

• Assist in maintaining efficient workflows for asset management, image processing, and final delivery

• Utilize AI-assisted tools and workflows (e.g., node-based generative tools, prompt-based image synthesis, and automation tools) to enhance efficiency and creative output
Job Requirements:
Essential Skills & Technical Requirements

• Advanced experience in Nuke compositing in a commercial or production environment

• Experience with multi-pass CG compositing, including handling render layers, AOVs, and passes for accurate integration

• Practical knowledge of 3D software interfaces (Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D) for scene and asset interpretation

• Experience with online editing, conforming, and finishing workflows in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects and Nuke Studio

• Strong eye for detail, composition, colour, and lighting

• Solid understanding of colour grading and ACES-based pipelines

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for image prep, matte paint, and design elements

• Experience with AI-assisted tools and workflows (e.g., node-based systems such as ComfyUI or similar) and familiarity with prompt-based iteration

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot pipeline issues

• Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills

What We’re Looking For

• A positive, collaborative team player who enjoys working in a close-knit studio environment

• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, feedback-driven commercial workflow

• An artist who can multitask, prioritize, and adapt quickly to changing project needs

• A proactive learner who is curious about new technologies, including AI-driven workflows, and eager to implement them in production

• Someone comfortable (or open) to working directly with clients and creative stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a commercials or advertising environment

• Familiarity with end-to-end pipelines across compositing, editorial, CG, and colour

• Ability to quickly adopt and integrate emerging tools and workflows
