ABOUT THE ROLE
??????????????????????????????????????

Panorama Village Animal Hospital is a veterinary clinic in Surrey, BC seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. You will work closely with our veterinarians providing hands-on care for small animal patients — from surgical support and treatment administration to client education and rehabilitation therapy.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

RESPONSIBILITIES
??????????????????????????????????????

- Handle, restrain, and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery
- Assist the veterinarian before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under veterinary direction
- Perform routine dental procedures and assist with animal dentistry
- Provide nursing care, wound/bandage care, and rehabilitation therapy
- Counsel clients on animal health care and aftercare
- Support clinic operations with occasional administrative duties

REQUIREMENTS
??????????????????????????????????????

Education:
- Degree in veterinary medicine or related discipline

Certification (required):
- Registration as a Registered Animal Health Technologist or Registered Veterinary Technician with a provincial/territorial association

Experience:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in veterinary or animal health care
- Experience with small animals

Skills & Attributes:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
- Team player with good judgment and initiative
- Basic security clearance required
