Job Description:

Sr. Physical Therapist is needed to perform the following duties:

• Direct Patient Care and Assessment: The therapist evaluates patients, develops personalized treatment plans, administers physical therapy interventions, and assesses various physical and developmental milestones, especially in children. Initial exams and continuous assessment allow for diagnosis, treatment adjustments, and measurable outcomes.
• Treatment Implementation: Physical therapy is delivered through a range of techniques such as massage, manual therapy, exercises, and the use of modalities like TENS and ultrasound. Therapists monitor and record patient progress, adjust treatment as needed, and ensure comprehensive documentation.
• Patient Education and Support: Therapists educate patients and families on at-home care, exercises, and follow-up plans, ensuring informed consent for interventions and discharging patients when therapy goals are met.
• Team Management and Supervision: Physical therapists provide guidance and mentorship to assistants and support staff, coordinate team schedules, review cases to uphold care standards, and offer expertise for complex cases. This role extends to supervising documentation practices and ensuring adherence to protocols.
• Program Development and Quality Improvement: Physical therapists contribute to departmental growth by implementing new programs, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and engaging in quality improvement initiatives. They monitor clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and contribute to policy updates.
• Staff Training and Development: The therapist organizes workshops and training sessions to improve staff knowledge of treatment techniques, protocols, and best practices, promoting professional growth within the department.
• Resource and Budget Management: Physical therapists assist in managing resources, ensuring the efficient use of equipment, and monitoring departmental budgets.
• Continuous Professional Development: Staying updated with advancements in the field, therapists engage in ongoing education to refine skills, enhance patient care, and apply the latest evidence-based practices.

Bachelor’s degree is required in Physical Therapy or Physiotherapy
