Work Experience: 5 Years Or More
Job Duties:
Inspecting, repairing, and providing maintenance of vehicle fire suppression systems and other types of Fire & Life Safety Equipment at various customer sites
Conducting life safety inspections and audits, with value-add suggestions for follow-up and maintenance
Performing site-specific training for owners and end users
Inspect products to determine the requirement for repair
Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specially designed tools
Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
Perform routine maintenance
Complete and submit work orders accurately and on time
May calibrate products using hand tools
Job Requirements:
5+ years experience working with fire suppression systems and other mechanical/electrical equipment
Previous manufacturer certification for vehicle fire suppression systems is an asset
A valid drivers’ license and clean drivers abstract
Prior customer service experience and great communication skills
Able to work with technology and mobile devices
Punctual , Attention to detail
Great attitude
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted, coupled with good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
Physically able to work in restricted workspaces, including using ladders and walkways on large equipment
Able to pass pre-employment and periodic drug and alcohol testing as well as criminal background checks
Must be able to travel for overnight and extended periods
Able to work in multiple locations as required
