Title of the Position: UX/UI Designer

Job Duties:
- Establish design standards and optimal design practices
- Maintain the appearance of websites by presenting hi-fi designs and communicating flows and interactions to relevant stakeholders. Prepare notes and annotations when required to ensure a smooth handoff to development teams.
- Design visual imagery for websites and ensure its consistency with the organization’s image. Contribute to a culture of design thinking and storytelling by mapping user journeys and using visual tools such as wireframes, storyboards and flow diagrams to build understanding and consensus for stakeholders
- Conduct usability testing including design of the test, recruiting participants, analyzing results, and presenting a summary
- Create and optimize content for the website using a variety of graphics, animation and other software
- Work closely with product management to identify problems and perform research and user testing to validate solutions
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to design awesome customer experiences based on user and implementation feedback
- Review features implemented by engineering and provide guidance to ensure pixel-perfect experiences
- Maintain consistent visual standards and contribute to evolving the design system
- Partner across teams at every stage to deliver the highest level of quality

Terms of Employment: This is a permanent and full-time position, 40 hours of work per week

Wage: $ 69,600 annually

Vacation: 20 vacation days per calendar year

Skill Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, graphic design, or completion of a college program in computer science, graphic arts, or Web design is required.
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with B2B SaaS product design, complex data visualizations, please include this in your portfolio
- Experience in persona development, journey mapping, and accessible design
- Proficiency in Figma
- Strong English language written and verbal communication skills, a second language is considered a bonus
- Strong problem solving and decision making abilities
