Salary: $40.00 per hour; The gross salary paid is subject to applicable Federal and Provincial income taxes and other statutory deductions such as EI and CPP.
Vacation: 4% of the gross salary
Hours of Work: 30.00 hours a week; Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week

Position Summary
The UX Designer/Web Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications that drive recruitment and workforce management solutions for the K–12 education sector. The role requires technical expertise in both front-end and back-end development, while collaborating with UX/UI, Product, and IT teams to ensure intuitive, reliable, and secure systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver web applications, wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for enterprise-level B2B HR software.
• Collaborate with development, product management, and QA throughout the web application pipeline to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Identify and address edge cases to create robust, inclusive experiences.
• Consult with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions.
• Advocate for UX best practices and accessibility standards across the product lifecycle.
• Work within Agile Scrum methodology, participating in sprints and ceremonies.
• Use JIRA to manage tasks and track progress within the software development pipeline.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Web Developer using Figma for wireframing, illustration, and prototyping is required.
• Strong understanding of design systems, information architecture, and interaction design principles.
• Ability to anticipate and design for edge cases and complex workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote team settings.
• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field is desired; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
• Certification in UX Design, UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related discipline is considered an asset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of design systems, information architecture, and interaction design principles.
