USPS Mail Hauler / Box Route Driver – Port Orford, OR
Start Date: January 5, 2025 | K7 Contract Route

Location:
Primary: Port Orford USPS, 311 7th St
Also serves Langlois USPS

Schedule:
Full-time | Mon–Sat | 35–40 hrs/week
No Sundays or federal holidays
2-year renewable USPS contract

Pay & Reimbursement:
$20–$22/hr | Paid federal holidays | Vacation after 1 year
Bi-weekly direct deposit
$0.45/mi IRS reimbursement
$100 weekly fuel/vehicle allowance
Driver supplies vehicle (cargo van or similar, 120+ cu ft)

Route Details:
97.3 daily miles | 1,773 hrs/year | 185 mailboxes
Rural coastal delivery between Port Orford & Langlois only
No long-distance routes

Responsibilities:
Case/load mail at Port Orford & Langlois
Deliver along assigned rural route
Use USPS scanner | Log hours/mileage daily
Return any missed items | 100% on-time performance

Requirements:
Clean license (past 3–5 yrs)
Pass USPS background, drug screen, fingerprinting
Lift 70 lbs | Live within 50 mins of Port Orford
Reliable, insured vehicle required
Experience w/ USPS, UPS, FedEx, or Amazon preferred
