Kochwilson & Co. Ltd has immediate opening for a User Support Technician (NOC: 22221) at our location in Mississauga, Ontario.
As a User Support Technician, you will perform the following duties:
• Provides technology support for onsite and remote associates by resolving moderately complex to highly complex technical issues and problems.
• Collaborates with other support teams and across the organization to troubleshoot highly complex issues and identify technology solutions.
• Provides support by identifying, tracking, troubleshooting and resolving requests
• Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
• Supervise other technical support workers in this group
• Addresses customer expectations and meets customer requests for multiple service offerings.
• Provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
• Provides issue resolution of reported systems and application issues while keeping the end user community regularly informed of progress.
• Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
• Provide customer service
Qualifications:
• Completion of a college program in computer science, computer programming or network administration or equivalent 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is required.
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically to diagnose issues and produce effective recommendations;
• Multi-tasker, attention to detail, and effective time management.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (40 hours/week)
Compensation: $ 29.00/hour
