Job Description:
We are seeking a User Support Technician (NOC 22221) to join our growing team in Brampton, Ontario. The successful candidate will provide technical support for software, hardware, and network systems, as well as assist in maintaining the digital infrastructure that supports our consulting and training operations. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to support staff and clients in resolving IT-related issues efficiently.

Responsibilities
Tasks
1. Respond to users experiencing difficulties with computer
2. Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions
3. Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
4. Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
5. Provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
6. Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
7. Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
9. Communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
10. Provide problem-solving services to network users
11. Respond to technical support requests from staff and clients via phone, email, or in person.
12. Support virtual training sessions, webinars, and online consulting platforms by ensuring smooth technical operations.
13. Document technical issues, solutions, and system configurations for future reference
14. Stay updated on emerging IT tools and technologies to recommend improvements in line with company growth and client service needs.
15. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues
16. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripheral devices, and software applications.
Experience and specialization
1. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role.
