Job Summary
As a User Support Technician at Standard Appliances LTD, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers by providing technical assistance and troubleshooting support for a variety of appliance brands. Your expertise will help ensure that our customers' appliances are functioning optimally and that they receive timely and efficient service.

Schedule:30~40 hours per week

Salary: CAD$34.50~36 per hour
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical support to customers over the phone, via email, or in person.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with a wide range of home appliances, such as refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, laundry equipment and other related devices, either on-site at customers' locations or in a repair facility.
• Guide customers through problem-solving processes and recommend solutions.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians or appropriate departments as necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including inquiries, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
• Stay current with product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate and effective support.
• Assist in the creation and updating of user support documentation.
• Provide support in the implementation of software and firmware updates for appliances.

• Completion of a college program in computer science, electronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a technical support or customer service role
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to think analytically.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with major appliance brands and their technical specifications is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
