Used Vehicle Manager Job

The Used Car Manager Job Description and Duties may include but not be limited to:

•Source used vehicles through auctions, lease returns, and wholesalers
•Ensure the lot manager and sales staff keep the lot clean and organized.
•Appraise customer trade-ins accurately using market data (vAuto, Canadian Black Book, AutoTrader, etc.)
•Approve and manage reconditioning costs (mechanical, cosmetic, detailing)
•Work closely with service and parts departments
•Ensure vehicles meet provincial safety standards and inspections
•Control reconditioning spend to protect gross profit
•Support and train sales staff on used-vehicle product knowledge
•Ensure high-quality photos, videos, and descriptions for online listings
