Job Description:
• Assist in developing planning and urban design concepts at various scales, including blocks, buildings, streets, and open spaces.
• Efficiently use computer-aided drafting (CAD) software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite and Chief Architect, to produce site plans, architectural plans, detailed drawings, diagrams and 3D models.
• Engage in architectural design by creating 3-D digital massing models, photo-simulations, and other graphics to support design proposals.
• Conduct research, mapping, and geospatial analysis to inform and support design projects.
• Coordinate structural design and understand building methods to create construction details and support site works.
• Analyze county zoning codes, by-laws space and site requirements to visualize building environment, determine project locations and ensure compliance with local zoning requirements.

Job Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Urban Design, Urban Planning, or related fields.
• Knowledge of behavioral studies & public space design, metropolitan sustainability, metropolitan design elements.
• Knowledge of architectural design to generate concept and space design for urban public spaces, residential communities, single-family housing, and townhouses.
• Skills in utilizing tools such as 3D modeling software, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Chief Architect
