Urban Designer Job

Here Design Studio, LLC. seeks an Urban Designer in Los Angeles, CA

• Create urban design plans, maps, illustrations, and spatial analysis.
• Develop infographics, project branding, and marketing collateral.
• Contribute to creative community outreach initiatives, translating complex planning concepts into accessible, engaging visuals and narratives.
• Prepare project-specific and marketing-related deliverables.
• Manage design efforts on projects, applying innovative solutions to design challenges.
• Produce urban planning reports, project summaries, streetscape concepts, conceptual plans, analysis maps, and branding materials.
• Draft planning narratives, plan drawings, sketches, hand-drawn vignettes, street sections, logos, GIS visualizations, and photorealistic renderings.
• Collaborate with Principals in the production of urban design critiques and outreach strategies.

Work Time: M-F; 9:00am to 6:00pm. 40 hrs/week.

Job entails working with and requires bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, City Planning or relevant with Candidate must have 1-year professional experience in:

• GIS-based spatial analysis and data visualization (ArcGIS, QGIS).
• Transit-oriented development and transportation planning insights.
• 2D/3D visualizations and presentation materials (AutoCAD, Rhino,
• Adobe Creative Suite).
• Urban design proposals aligned with community and environmental goals.
• Data analysis techniques (Python, R) for planning decisions.

Employers will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in one of the requisite fields followed by 1 years of experience in the position Urban Designer or related.
