### Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced UCaaS Engineer or Cloud Communications Consultant to support customer projects involving unified communications, VoIP, SIP, cloud telephony, and communications infrastructure.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to assess customer requirements, design solutions, and support implementations.

### Responsibilities
- Assess customer voice and unified communications environments.
- Design and support UCaaS and cloud telephony solutions.
- Assist with VoIP, SIP trunking, call routing, number porting, and dial-plan configuration.
- Support migrations from legacy PBX systems to cloud communications platforms.
- Troubleshoot call quality, connectivity, provisioning, and interoperability issues.
- Document network requirements, system configurations, and technical recommendations.
- Assist with vendor evaluations and communications technology assessments.
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, security, and operating costs.
- Collaborate with customers, carriers, MSPs, and technology partners.

### Qualifications
- Experience in telecommunications engineering, voice systems, or UCaaS implementations.
- Knowledge of SIP, VoIP, PBX systems, call routing, and voice networking.
- Experience with cloud communications platforms is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer communication skills.
- Ability to manage projects independently and work remotely.
- Relevant certifications and experience with contact center platforms are beneficial.

### Compensation
Contract rates or project fees will be established based on technical experience, project complexity, and scope of work.
