Truck & Transport Mechanic Job

Scott Spring Ltd. located at 10805 120 Street, Surrey, BC, Canada, V3V 4G5 requires one full time & Permanent Truck & Transport Mechanic to join operations immediately. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people.

Job Duties:
• Adjust, repair, and replace defective parts, and components of commercial transport truck and trailer systems including chassis, frame, engine, drive train, air brakes, and electrical and electronic systems etc.
• Test and inspect vehicles to ensure repairs are completed to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Diagnose faults and malfunctions and inform management of the extent and possible costs of repair.
• Test drive of the vehicle before and after the service to ensure proper performance of vehicle.
• Perform scheduled maintenance of engines and various other equipment parts, including adjusting and replacing components, if needed.
• Maintain inventory of working tools and suggest improvements and/or changes to management.
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
• Use hand tools and various specialized diagnostic equipment to diagnose, isolate and repair faults.

Education: Completion of High School is required.
Experience: Minimum two years of experience in the relevant field is required.
Language: English is required.
Number of Positions: 1
Wage: $38.40 per hour for 40 hours per week along with 4% Vacation Pay.
