Salary:
$36.60 hourly for 30-40 hours per week

SPECIFIC SKILLS
1. Inspect commercial trucks and trailer systems to identify mechanical problems and ensure safe operation.
2. Diagnose mechanical faults using testing equipment and determine the required repairs or replacements.
3. Repair, service, or replace defective components, including engines, brakes, transmissions, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
4. Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing on commercial transport vehicles.
5. Test repaired systems and adjust components to ensure they meet manufacturer specifications.
6. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
7. Inspect completed repairs to verify proper performance and compliance with safety standards.
8. Maintain accurate service records, repair reports, and documentation of work completed.
9. Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure all repairs comply with industry regulations.
10. Communicate repair findings and maintenance recommendations to supervisors or customers.
