G R Trucking is looking for full time Truck & Trailer Mechanic.
Title: Truck and Trailer Mechanic
Location: # 1340 Gladwin Rd, Abbotsford, BC V2T 5Y3
Salary: $37.00 per hour
Terms of Employment: Full Time/ Permanent;
Positions Available: 1
Start Date: As soon as possible;
Job Requirement
• Experience- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience is required;
• Education; Completion of Secondary school is required
Job Duties:
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems including chassis, frame, cab, body, engine and air brakes.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems including structural, brake and electrical systems.
• Testing and inspecting vehicle to ensure repairs are completed to manufacturer specifications and government standards.
• Documenting serial number and recording repair story on work order noting problems or unusual situations encountered during repairs.
• Using hand tools and various specialized diagnostic equipment to diagnose, isolate and repair faults
• Performing scheduled maintenance service
