Job Duties:
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems including chassis, frame, cab, body, engine and drive train, air brakes, steering, and fuel, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems including structural, brake and electrical systems.
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
• Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functioning.
• Advise customers on repair needs and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain and clean tools and work areas.
• Keep records of work performed and parts used.
