Truck Mechanic Job

Blackstar Truck & Trailer Repairs Ltd. is looking for one Truck Mechanic for their business located at 210-12451 82 Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3W 3E8. This position is full time with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.

As a Truck Mechanic, you will be performing the following duties:

- Check trucks and trailers for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
- Repair trucks and trailers.
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturer’s specifications.
- Work with shop management to maintain schedules and priorities.
- Follow procedures and guidelines.
- Perform procurement of parts and materials.
- Complete all documentation associated with equipment repairs.
- Measuring vehicle emissions and making corrections to get them within legal limits.

Job Requirements:

- Completion of Secondary School education is required.
- 3 to 4 years of work experience is required.
- Basic English language is required.

What we offer:

- $37.00 per hour.
- 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period.
- Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time job position.
