Duties:
• Inspect and diagnose mechanical problems in trucks and transport vehicles.
• Repair or replace defective parts, such as engines, transmissions, and brakes.
• Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
• Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functioning.
• Advise customers on repair needs and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain and clean tools and work areas.
• Keep records of work performed and parts used.
• May also be involved in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, fuel systems, and suspension systems.
