Job Description:
Blackstar Truck & Trailer Repairs Ltd. is looking for one Truck Mechanic for their business located at 210-12451 82 Avenue Surrey BC V3W 3E8. This position is full time with 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week.
As a Truck Mechanic, you will be performing the following duties:
-Check trucks and trailers for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
Repair trucks and trailers.
-Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
-Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
-Work with shop management to maintain schedules and priorities.
-Follow procedures and guidelines.
-Perform procurement of parts and materials.
-Complete all documentation associated with equipment repairs.
-Measuring vehicle emissions and making corrections to get them within legal limits.
Number of positions: 1
Job Requirements:
-Completion of Secondary School is required
-3 to 4 years of work experience is required.
-Basic English language is required
What we offer:
-$34.00 per hour
-4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
-Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time position.
