Truck Mechanic Job

Blackstar Truck & Trailer Repairs Ltd. is looking for one Truck Mechanic for their business located at 210-12451 82 Ave, Surrey BC, V3W 3E8. This is a full time position with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week.

As a Truck Mechanic, you would be performing the following job duties:

-Check trucks and trailers for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
-Repair trucks and trailers.
-Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
-Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturer’s specifications.
-Work with shop management to maintain schedules and priorities.
-Follow procedures and guidelines.
-Perform procurement of parts and materials.
-Complete all documentation associated with equipment repairs.
-Measuring vehicle emissions and making corrections to get them within legal limits.

Job Requirements:

-Completion of Secondary education is required.
-3 to 4 years of work experience is required.
-Basic English as a language skill is required.

What we offer:

-$37.00 per hour.
-4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period.
-Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time position.
