Overview
This is an on-the-go job. The mechanic is required to work in and out of the company-provided vehicle. All equipment will be on deck. If you’re someone who loves to be on the move and enjoys working in various locations, come join us!

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Requirements:
• Must be lawfully authorized to work in Canada
- Canadian citizen
- Permanent resident of Canada
- Temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit
• Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g., lifts)
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities
Tasks
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
• Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
• Performing necessary repairs and replacements on various parts of the vehicle, including the engine, transmission, and brakes
• Providing quotes for clients for potential work and discussing the necessary repairs.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
• Estimate parts and labour costs to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Perform scheduled maintenance service
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
• Traveling to clients’ locations to assess and repair vehicles
• Communicating with clients about vehicle problems, maintenance needs, and repair options
• Staying updated on the latest vehicle models and repair techniques
