Truck Drivers Job

Harvee Logistics is seeking experienced and safety-focused Transport Truck Drivers to support its long-haul and regional freight operations across Canada. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of commercial goods while complying with federal and provincial transportation regulations, company safety policies, and delivery schedules. This role requires strong driving skills, mechanical awareness, and the ability to manage documentation, routes, and cargo handling independently.

Experience

Responsibilities & Tasks
• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
• Professionalism in customer service
• Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
• Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
• Secure, load, and unload cargo using appropriate equipment while ensuring load balance and cargo safety
• Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Maintain accurate driver logs, trip records, fuel reports, and delivery documentation in compliance with ELD and transport regulations
• Plan and adjust routes using GPS systems, traffic updates, and delivery schedules to ensure on-time deliveries
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

• Represent Harvee Logistics professionally when interacting with clients, inspectors, and law enforcement authorities
• Ensure compliance with hours-of-service rules, border requirements, and transportation safety standards
