Truck Drivers Job

Allied Transport Ltd. located at 9254 116 Street, Delta, BC V4C 5W9 urgently requires two Full time/ Permanent Truck Drivers. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people to apply.
The employee is required to perform following duties:

• Operate a 5-ton truck to transport goods and materials over local routes and within the assigned region.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, fluid levels, and safety equipment.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements to prevent damage or shifting during transportation.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Receive and relay information to dispatchers.
• Load and unload goods, and operate loading equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Deliver goods, follow established routes, and maintain delivery schedules.
• Monitor vehicle performance, perform basic maintenance, and report mechanical issues to the supervisor or maintenance department.

Minimum education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Minimum Experience: No experience required. Paid on job training will be provided.
Salary: $37/hour (Minimum 30 hrs/week).
