Truck driver Job

Shat Logistics is seeking skilled and reliable truck drivers to join our team in Waterloo, ON (N2L 0C7). This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive compensation of $34.50 per hour for 40 hours per week. The role requires flexible availability, including day, early morning, evening, night, and weekend shifts, with work starting as soon as possible. We currently have two vacancies available.

As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes. Key responsibilities include:
• Planning and adjusting routes using GPS and other navigation tools to optimize efficiency and minimize environmental impact.
• Delivering exceptional customer service by addressing concerns and maintaining professionalism.
• Loading, unloading, and securing cargo, including dangerous goods, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Performing vehicle inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency roadside repairs.
• Maintaining accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
• Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
• Licenses: AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational abilities, flexibility, and reliability.
