Marcamp Trucking Inc. is seeking reliable and safety-focused Truck Drivers to join our transportation team in Brampton, Ontario. The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently while ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities & Tasks
1. Calculate the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed
2. Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
3. Professionalism in customer service
4. Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
5. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
6. Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
7. Load and unload goods
8. Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
9. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
10. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
11. Pay and receive payments for goods
12. Perform brake adjustments
13. Perform emergency roadside repairs
14. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
15. Perform preventive maintenance
16. Receive and relay information to central dispatch
17. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
18. Transport and handle dangerous goods
