Permanent Position: Truck driver (Noc 73300)

Work location: As per company contracts in the province of Alberta.
Wage rate: $36.00 per hour for 40 hours a week
Education: Secondary education
Experience : Not required/ will train
Language: English
Driver licence (Class 1 or A) is required.
Job duties:
Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
Load and unload goods.
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
Perform brake adjustments.
Perform emergency roadside repairs.
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
Perform preventive maintenance.
Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Benefits: Relocation expenses will be covered by the employer as well as the first three months of medical insurance, if required.
Work setting: the candidate should be available to work full time in the day,evening or on weekend,if required.
Other: Candidates should be legally entitled to work in Canada.
