Wage Rate and hours: $30.66 per hour, 40-50 hours per week, overtime required.

Job Location: deliveries to various locations in and out Manitoba.
Job requirements:
Language: English
Education: not required
License: Valid Driver’s licence – Class 1 or A is required
Experience: not required. However, any relevant experience will be considered as an asset.
Job duties:
• Load and unload goods
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle; perform preventive maintenance if required.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Perform actions such as brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs when required.
• Prepare reports and keep record of Cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption and submit these reports to the supervisor.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch to receive load and delivery information.
• Ensure safety and security of cargo.
• Perform inspection of tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
• Oversee condition of vehicle and use tarp to cover loads when required and necessary.
• Address customers complains and concerns.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, sitting for long hours, willing to travel for extended periods.
