Truck Driver Job

River Dale Trucking, based in Mississauga, is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The successful candidate will operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently across local and regional routes. This role requires frequent travel, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safety and high-quality service.

Operate straight trucks or tractor-trailers to transport goods and materials safely.

Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.

Load, unload, and secure cargo efficiently while following safety standards.

Handle and transport hazardous materials in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy when required.

Plan or adjust routes using GPS or navigation tools to optimize efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.

Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation, and communicate effectively with dispatch.
