Action Force Transport Limited is seeking 4 full-time, permanent Long Haul Truck Drivers.
Start date: as soon as possible.

EXPERIENCE
3 years to less than 5 years
CREDENTIALS
AZ class licence / Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A). Valid driver's licence required.
DUTIES
-Mountain driving expertise
-Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
-Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
-Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
-Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
-Perform preventive maintenance
-Receive and relay information to central dispatch
-Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
EXPERIENCE AND SPECIALIZATION
- Documentation knowledge: accident or incident reports; bill of lading; driver logbook; inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip); maintenance and repair reports; trip reports
- Type of trucking and equipment: refrigerated; tractor-trailer
- Communication systems: GPS and other navigation equipment; trip recorder (on-board computer)
- Transportation/travel experience: long haul

WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES
