Job Description:
Total Transload Services is a leading bulk material handling and logistics company located at 305 Park Road, Gibbons, AB T0A 1N0. They specialize in providing customized transloading, storage, and delivery solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of clients across the construction, oil and gas, mining, and food industries
Total Transload Services has an immediate vacancy for a “Truck Driver”. The position is full-time/ Permanent, $37.50/hour. Language of work will be English.
Duties involve
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Employment Requirements:
• Class 1 Driver’s License
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• At least 1-year experience as a truck driver
