Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
1.Transport finished goods and raw materials safely and efficiently to and from manufacturing plants, retail centers, and distribution centers.
2.Ensure timely deliveries and meet scheduled deadlines.
3.Conduct regular vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and safety concerns.
4.Perform preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
5.Plan optimal routes to maximize efficiency and reduce delays.
6.Maintain accurate records of work hours, rest of periods, kilometers driven, and fuel/toll expenses.
7.Adhere to all relevant truck driving regulations, including size and weight restrictions, route designations, parking, and break periods.
8.Comply with company policies and procedures.
9.Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions safely and efficiently.
10.Input "macros" into the automated system to track loading and unloading stages.
11.Collect and verify delivery instructions to ensure accuracy.
Report any defects, accidents, or violations promptly and accurately.
