Position Overview
Friends Group Logistics is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials, ensuring safe handling of cargo, and maintaining compliance with transportation regulations. This role requires frequent and extended travel.

Requirements
• Language: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant work experience
• Certificates/Licenses: AZ class license (required)

Key Responsibilities
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
• Obtain permits and other documentation required for international cargo transport
• Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Inspect vehicles and equipment (tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, etc.) for safety compliance
• Perform brake adjustments and preventative maintenance
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• Relay trip details to central dispatch and maintain accurate records
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
• Ensure safety and security of cargo during transport
• Handle and transport hazardous goods in compliance with regulations
