Truck Driver Job

Joe Trucking, a transportation company located at 830 Crystallina Nera way NW Edmonton, AB, T5Z 0N4 has a vacancy for a Truck Driver. The position is full time/ permanent, 30-40 hours/week, $35.50/hour.
Duties involve
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Employment Requirements:

• Class 1 Driver’s License
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• At least 1-year experience as a truck driver

Language of work will be English.
