Truck Driver Job

Galactica Logistics Inc., located at 800 Cliveden Ave, Delta, British Columbia, V3M 5R5, requires 4 Truck Drivers on a Permanent full-time basis.
• Wage: $31.00 to $35.00 per hour
• Hours - 40 per week
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Credentials: Driver's License (Class 1 or equivalent)
• Experience: No Experience is required but Experience of at least 7 months is preferred. Suitable applicants without experience must go through a 90-day training program after being hired, and the driving test must be passed before commercial driving is permitted on the road.

Job duties of Truck Driver:
• Must be licensed and able to drive a tractor/trailer in a safe and proficient manner.
• Responsible for inspecting the vehicle to ensure it is in proper operating condition, fueled, and ready for dispatch.
• Completion of required internal and compliance paperwork.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Use on board computers and communication devises to contact dispatcher and other drivers.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report accidents or violations in timely manner.
• Any other relevant task.
