Key Responsibilities
Safely operate straight or articulated trucks over short and long distances.

Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure roadworthiness.

Load, unload, tarp, and secure cargo to prevent damage during transport.

Plan and adjust routes using GPS and navigation tools to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

Monitor and perform routine and emergency maintenance, including brake adjustments and roadside repairs.

Communicate with dispatchers to receive instructions and relay relevant trip information.

Record and maintain logs of cargo, distance traveled, fuel consumption, and hours of service.

Adhere to all safety regulations and industry standards.

Education:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent

Licensing & Certification:

Valid AZ Class Driver’s License (mandatory)

Valid general driver’s license

Experience:

Experience as a commercial truck driver is an asset
