Truck Driver Community Donations Job

Operate straight trucks, 5-ton trucks and other commercial vehicle to safely collect, transport, and deliver community donations.
Pick up and distribute donated food, clothing, furniture, household goods, and relief supplies to community organization and individual in need.
Plan efficient pickup and delivery routes and perform pre-trip and post trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe vehicle operations.
Load, unload, organize, inspect, and secure donated items to prevent damage, contamination, and loss during transportation.
Transport donations between collection sites, warehouses, storage facilities, and operational locations to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of donated goods to charitable programs and communities in need.
Verify pickup and delivery information and maintain accurate records of donations, mileage, deliveries, vehicle inspections, and related documentation.
Communicate professionally with donors, volunteers, community partners, and beneficiaries while providing courteous, respectful, and compassionate customer service.
Assist individuals and families with receiving donated goods and provide basic information about available community programs and support services.
Support the distribution of food hampers, clothing, furniture, relief supplies, donations drives, fundraising events, and community outreach activities.
Assist volunteers with loading, unloading, sorting and distributing donated item while promoting safe and efficient operations.
Build and maintain positive relationships with donors, local businesses, community organizations and service providers, while protecting the confidentiality of donor and client information.
Monitor donation quality, report urgent community needs or service concerns to supervisors and help improve service delivery.
Keep Vehicles clean, organized, and in-safe operating condition while complying with traffic laws, workplace safety procedures, food handling requirements, and organizational policies.
