Location: 285009 Frontier Road, Rocky View, AB T1X 0W4 (Various locations throughout the Calgary region)

Position: Permanent, Full-time

Wage: $37.50 per hour

Hours: 30–40 hours per week

A-Z Waste Bin & Fence Rental is a leading provider of waste bin and temporary fence rental services for residential, commercial, and construction projects throughout Alberta. We are seeking a dependable, safety-oriented Class 3 Truck Driver to join our growing team.

Job Duties

- Operate and drive primarily straight-body trucks to transport waste bins, temporary fencing, and related equipment on local and short interurban routes.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation, including the condition of equipment and the loading and unloading of cargo.
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload waste bins, temporary fencing, and related materials at customer sites.
- Operate specialized trucks and equipment associated with waste bin and fence delivery services.
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and complies with applicable transportation and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch personnel, and site supervisors.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow all company policies and provincial and federal transportation regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and represent the company professionally at all job sites.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Employment Requirements

- Completion of secondary school is usually required.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
- Completion of an accredited driver training program is considered an asset.
- A valid Alberta Class 3 driver’s licence is required.
- Experience operating straight-body trucks is an asset.
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification is an asset and may be required for certain loads.
- A clean driver’s abstract and a strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, loading, and unloading materials.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at various locations throughout the Calgary region.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
