Salary: $30 to $35/Hour
Work Hours Per Week: 30 Hours
Benefits: Travel insurance, transportation subsidies and two weeks of paid vacation. A Mandatory Entry Level Training (MELT) plan from the driving school and additional necessary training will be paid by the employer.
Location: 2-601 9th Street Brandon, Manitoba R7A 4B3
Language Requirement: Basic English skills are required.

As the business continues to grow, we are looking for one (1) enthusiastic Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely between our suppliers and warehouses. We are seeking reliable individuals with strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. Job Descriptions:
1. Operate and drive tractor-trailers, long-combination vehicles, and straight-body trucks to transport products and supplies across extended distances.
2. Plan delivery routes, arrange necessary permits, and ensure all required documentation is secured for transporting goods.
3. Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle’s systems, including tires, lights, brakes, turn signals, and refrigeration units.
4. Properly secure cargo following safety regulations and adhere to guidelines for handling and transporting hazardous materials.
5. Acquire special permits and documentation for transporting goods across international borders.
6. Maintain accurate records of shipments, service hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
7. Manage bills of lading and keep logs updated manually or through electronic systems.
8. Stay in communication with dispatchers, fellow drivers, and customers using onboard communication tools.
9. Perform minor roadside repairs in case of vehicle breakdowns.
10. Operate as part of a team or a convoy for long-haul deliveries.

Qualification:
1. A Class 1 License (or equivalent from other Canadian provinces) is required.
2. A clean driving record (i.e. no violations) is required.
3. Must be at least 18 years old.
4. Completion of an accredited driver training course of up to three months duration is required.
5. Air brake endorsement is required.
6. Completion of high school is required; a college diploma is an asset.
7. Truck driving experience is a strong asset.
8. Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading cargo, when necessary.
9. Familiarity with transportation laws and safety protocols is a strong asset.
10. Team player & work under pressure & creativity.
