About the Employer:
A.B.P. Transportation Services Incorporated is seeking reliable and safety-conscious Truck Drivers to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently. The successful candidates will operate straight or articulated trucks, inspect vehicles, secure cargo, maintain transportation records, and communicate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries. Candidates must be committed to following transportation regulations and maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.

Drive lighter, special-purpose trucks as required.

Load and unload goods and ensure cargo is properly secured.

Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.

Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.

Inspect vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage systems, and other equipment.

Perform emergency roadside repairs when necessary.

Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee vehicle condition and cargo handling.

Receive and relay information to central dispatch.

Apply tarps and ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation.

Transport and handle dangerous goods in accordance with applicable safety requirements.

Employment Conditions:

Permanent employment.

Full-time position.

30–40 hours per week.

Work must be completed on site.
