Truck Driver Job

Advance Float Services is seeking a dedicated Transport Truck Driver to join our team. Responsibilities:

Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely
Plan and adjust routes using GPS and other navigation equipment
Load, unload, tarp, and properly secure cargo for transportation
Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
Monitor vehicle condition and report any maintenance or safety issues
Receive and relay information to dispatch regarding routes, deliveries, and delays
Maintain accurate driver logs, cargo records, hours of service, fuel consumption, and inspection reports
Obtain required permits and transportation documents for applicable routes
Perform basic roadside checks and emergency repairs when required
Transport and handle dangerous goods in accordance with applicable safety requirements
Ensure the safety and security of cargo throughout transportation
Follow company policies and applicable transportation and safety regulations

Requirements:

Language: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a related role
Workplace: On-site only (No remote work available)
Licence: Valid AZ Class Driver’s Licence with Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
